"I have to run a booth at the BIT conference in Milan.
Is there any way to get my virtual tours to run standalone on a CD-ROM?"
-- A regional marketing manager for a hotel group.
You've got your virtual tour on the Web, but sometimes you'd just like to do without that connection.
Now, at the click of a button, GeoCD will package and download a complete copy of your online virtual tour as a
self-extracting ZIP file. Save it on your hard disk drive or write it to a CD-ROM. You can open it with
the same web browsers you use to view your tour on the Web.
The standalone site tour looks and functions the same as the Web version. All panoramic images and maps are
included, and all hotspots, position indicators, and map icons work normally.
Auxiliary navigation controls such as menus and links leading outside the tour will not function correctly
unless you have a live connection to the Web; therefore, you have an option to have them deactivated when the
tour is created.
